Update: The team at Zentiva has completed another fitness challenge to support The Luke Hart Foundation by raising £200 for Cancer Research UK in memory of much-missed colleague, Luke.

This time they set off in teams to trek all the way from the Zentiva UK site to the Zentiva site in Akelshwar, India.  The challenge was to reach a target of 8,371,400 steps which equates to 4,185.70 miles! Collectively they smashed the target and finished on 10,945,240 steps!

The team completed various challenges throughout the 3 weeks. These included collecting conkers on their walks to spell out their team names, connecting together by passing pumpkins, they even planted trees and ended the challenge with a bake off which also supported Breast Cancer Awareness week.

We’d like to give an enormous thank you to every single member of the Zentiva team for taking part in this fantastic challenge, and helping to raise vital funds for Cancer Research UK.

This Autumn, Luke’s colleagues at Zentiva, where he was General Manager of the UK site, will be undertaking Trektober to raise money for Cancer Research in his memory.

This incredible challenge sees the team working together to collectively walk the distance between two Zentiva sites. The challenge lies in the fact that the two sites are located in Guildford, UK, and Ankleshwar, India.
