The Luke Hart Foundation was set up in memory of Luke by his wife and children, to provide fundraising and support for a number of cancer charities under its umbrella.
The inspiring fundraising stories and dedication of those who would like to fundraise in memory of Luke will build a legacy in helping to beat cancer.
Our vision is to make a difference and hopefully, one day, together, we will help to find a cure!
Luke developed cancer in 2018
…and fought a battle for almost five years until it finally took his life early 2023. He was 50 years old and, until he was diagnosed, he was a very fit man. Luke was a warm and caring family man who held his head high and lived life to the full until the end, but despite all his efforts to combat the progression of the disease, there was no cure. He left behind a loving wife, 2 children, family and hundreds of friends and colleagues who miss him.
Luke’s ambition was to make a difference in the world and to help to combat cancer would be his ultimate wish.
