The Laws Walk for Luke – 100 miles

Update: Huge congratulations to Hollie & Hylton, who have smashed their 100-mile challenge in support of the Luke Hart Foundation. Through their efforts, the duo have raised a wonderful total of £683.75 inc. Gift Aid.

It’s a fantastic tribute Hollie’s Uncle Luke – we’re very proud of you both.

This November, we’re cheering on Hollie & Hylton Laws as they take on a new challenge in memory of Luke, Hollie’s loved and much-missed uncle.

Together, they’ll don their boots to walk an incredible 100 miles throughout the month to honor Luke. With every step of this new challenge, Hollie & Hylton are raising vital funds for Cancer Research UK, ensuring that Luke’s positive outlook and zest for life live on through their efforts. An enormous ‘Thank you’ to to Hollie & Hylton – Uncle Luke would be very, very proud.

“Throughout November Me and Hylton will be walking 100 miles to raise money for Cancer Research UK in memory of Uncle Luke. Luke was such a huge part of my whole life. From early memories holidaying in Norfolk, Spain and the lakes, dressing up in ridiculous fancy dress and teaching us which films and songs are ‘classics’, to our first trip into ‘real’ London, teaching Hylton that Guinness has no place for blackcurrant and trying our first espresso martinis (since renamed the Lukey-Martini).

Even after diagnosis in 2018 of a very rare type of cancer of the bile duct, Luke continued to not only live his own life to the full, but to teach us to do the same. Life will never be the same without Luke and it’s hard to put into words how much we miss him, but hopefully this walk will send him a message to remind him that his legacy lives on, and in his words, we promise to make this challenge our ‘Best Challenge Ever!’”
