We are incredibly touched to have received a generous donation of £2,347.00 to the Luke Hart Foundation, raised through the memorial of Adam Walker – a much-loved friend of Luke’s, who sadly passed away earlier this year.

The donation was organised by Adam’s son Oliver, who created a GoFundMe page inviting family and friends to donate in lieu of flowers. The funds raised are being shared between two causes close to the family’s heart: the Cystic Fibrosis Trust and the Luke Hart Foundation.

Adam and Luke shared a wonderful bond, one built on friendship, warmth, and moments that live long in the memories of those that loved them. That their friendship has come full circle in this way, even in absence, is deeply moving.

At a time of personal grief and loss, the kindness and thoughtfulness shown by Oliver and the Walker family is all the more powerful. We are honoured and humbled that Adam’s memorial would include support for Luke’s legacy, and the fundraising of the Foundation.

To Oliver and the Walker family, and to everyone whose donations have contributed – thank you. Your generosity, thoughtfulness, and the way you’ve chosen to honour both Adam and Luke means the world to us. Adam is part of the story, and we’ll continue to remember him with gratitude, warmth and pride.
